Environment and Health – Transactions Due Diligence Lead

This global engineering and environmental consultancy has a leading track record delivering EHS and ESG due diligence services for M&A transactions. Providing both buy side and sell side services, clients include private equity organisations, corporates, investment banks and pension funds.

To continue to grow this business stream, together with contributing to expanding wider EHS and ESG consultancy, we are seeking a Lead Consultant with emphasis on wining new business. You will inherit a foundation of existing customers to build from and an excellent delivery capability, drawing expertise from across the UK, European and wider global offices.

The skills and experience we are looking for include;

  • Relevant qualifications; ideally degree in Environmental or Health and Safety Studies; Geography, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Economics, or closely related field.
  • Extensive (minimum 10 years) experience working in Environment and Health including a minimum of 5 years in a fee earning consultancy role.
  • Experience of transaction EHS due diligence work (minimum 5 years), preferably in deals for industrial and commercial assets – manufacturing plants; energy assets; airports or similar.
  • Demonstrate business winning track record and possess a network of contacts with the transactions market – in some or all of – private equity companies, investment banks, pension funds and legal firms advising on transactions.

This position is UK based, ideally in London and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
