ALICE Technologies is a well funded (VC backed) technology business, formed in 2015 in the US. It has established a worldwide customer base with major contractors and client organisations and is now building on a year of preparation and pilot projects to fully launch into the UK market. Our first UK based employee joins shortly and this is the first sales appointment within the UK.
ALICE Technologies provides planning and scheduling solutions which enable customers to reduce risks; construction costs and project durations. This role will lead our business winning activities in the UK and have involvement into wider European locations. Initially operating in a stand alone capacity the person appointed will be expected to identify prospective customers; adopt a consultative approach to build relationships; optimise the solutions offered and secure business from new customers. You will be supported by wider PR and marketing activities together with proven results from current customers (see www.alicetechnologies.com for details of these).
We are looking for candidates with experience including;
- Minimum 5 years experience selling complex technology solutions to new customers, demonstrating successful achievement of targets.
- At least some of this experience should have been gained within an SME business rather than major corporates.
- Previous experience selling into the Construction/Infrastructure sector and a relevant contact network is strongly preferred.
Customers and meetings will be UK wide and beyond and so candidates must be prepared to travel as required including spending nights away from home.
ALICE Technologies is established, well funded and set for substantial growth. The timing of this appointment should appeal to be involved at an early stage in the growth of the business. Realistic earnings will be comfortably into six figures and all employees (currently 40 and rising) are shareholders.
